Going into April, the national median two-bedroom rent is down 0.56 percent since January, to $1,247. Median one bedroom rent in New York City hovered around $2,773, a 0.25 percent drop, while median two-bedroom rents averaged $3,253 a month, a decrease of 1.08 percent.
