With just a two-month supply of homes left on the Charlotte market to end March, residential sales dropped 11.2% year over year. A total of 3,866 homes sold in March, which is down from 4,354 a year ago. The number of closings did however increase 40.3% since February, when 2,755 sales were recorded.
