The cost of a home in Greater Baltimore is going up — the median sales price of a home in the Baltimore metro area jumped 6.5 percent in February over last year's prices in the same month. The average sales price recorded for a home in February was $245,000, which is $15,000 higher than the median price recorded in the same month a year ago.
