Listing price reduced on most expensive home for sale in Houston

When "Chateau Carnarvon" first hit the market, the mansion was touted as the most expensive home ever listed in Houston real estate history with a listing price of $43 million.  Now, the price tag for the 27,000-plus-square-foot, two-story mansion has been reduced to $30 million, according to its listing on Houston Association of Realtors' website and Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty's website.
