Home insurance price increases hit Kansas hard

Kansas ranks second nationally for the average increase in the cost of home insurance in recent years, a new study finds.  Data from the Kansas City-based National Association of Insurance Commissioners show the average cost of home insurance in Kansas increased $627 from 2007 to 2015, the most recent year available.
