From the editor: It's up to us to pressure lawmakers to fund affordable housing programs

We got more evidence recently that the affordable housing shortage is getting more dire, prompting a call by one advocate for public officials to do more to head off what could become a crisis for the region and the state. The National Low Income Housing Coalition came out with its latest Gap Report that found only 42 rental units are affordable and available for every 100 low-income tenant households in Ohio.
