Delaware homebuilder buys oceanfront Palm Beach mansion for $18.5M

The family trust of Louis J. Capano Jr., a well-known homebuilder in Delaware, paid $18.5 million for an oceanfront mansion in Manalapan. Steven Oliveira and Bernadette Oliveira, of New City, New York, sold the 12,669-square-foot mansion at 700 S. Ocean Blvd. to Capano. He’s the head of biotech venture capital firm Oliveira Capital. The price equates to $1,460 a square foot. The Oliveiras built the home in 2012 on the 1.57-acre site, which runs along both the beach and the Intracoastal Waterway.…
